Lord of My Rings!

I have never really like the feeling of having something wrapping around my neck or wrist for unknown reasons, that is why most of my jewelries and accessories are either earrings or rings. However, collecting rings for me is never a breeze as I own a set of slender fingers. In today posting, I will love to share with you most of my rings I have collected over the years, some of them are not at my current lodging... Enjoy and share with me your collection if you feel inspired to after reading my post!

First and foremost, I name all my rings for your information. The first ring that I will like to share is one of my latest purchase, the Golden Cupid,  I bought it (for just SGD 4.50!) from Toys Outpost just yesterday while shopping in Katong I12 after dinner at Nandos. I have been looking for so long for one like this, just a simple, dainty looking pair of wings that I can wear on my finger. However, it is so inexpensive that I start to worry that it's break one day, but heck, I love it so much I had to grab it.

The second wing-ring I got is the Glistening Wings, also purchased (SGD 6.50!) just yesterday from the same shop where I found my Cupid Wings. This is a bigger ring displaying a pair of full span wings with peach color rhinestones, looking like random dew drops hence the name I gave for this ring. It's quite a statement ring in my opinion and I'm still think of what kind of outfits I can wear with it. Yes, sometimes, I will decide on my accessory of the day then followed by my outfit.

Royal Cluster is from Diva purchased at a very attractive price. I use to walk pass the Diva stores thinking that they sell girly accessories as I observed most of the patrons were teenage girls. It was until one day when I walked into one while waiting for my partner who was in the gadget shop next door that I realized the reason why there so many young girls shopping happily there may be due to the wonderful pricing they offer. With these prices, the trade off is that some of the pieces may not be extremely well-made. However, if you have the time, spend some time browsing in Diva and you may find some decent pieces worth collecting. Times like these never fail to make me feel as happy as a school girl.

Royal Cluster ring 2: The rhinestones setting goes all the way to the sides but it still comfortable enough to wear.

The Rose Curve is the only rose gold-tone ring I own, my partner spotted it while we were shopping at Sovena in KSL City Mall across the causeway in Johor Bahru. I used to love this shop and will never miss it whenever I hit the mall. Numerous earrings I love to bits are from Sovena at really low prices, mostly below SGD 10. However, they recently changed their marketing techniques and merchandises got costlier. Although, they are still affordable, but I gave it a miss until the next time...

Twin Hearts is also a ring that my partner spotted in Sovena, it is a sweet lovely ring. However, I've yet to wear it because 2 of the rhinestones fell off not long after I purchased it. I will fix it eventually when I have the opportunity to pick up some rhinestones from a craft store.

Next up is one of my favorite rings that I picked up many years ago in a shop in Far East Plaza. I don't think the shop is still in business. What a pity, I remember that they brought unique pieces from Korea back then. This is the only surviving one I still have as I am undeniably scattered-brain at times. I cannot imagine if I lose this beauty.

Bobble is from Diva and it came in silver as well, however if I have to choose, I'll always tend to lean towards gold. It is definitely a fun and eye-catching piece that I often wear with my all back outfits. A versatile and enjoyable piece I must say.

This is another ring I bought from Diva, the Golden Twine wraps snugly around my finger. It's another one of those all-rounder rings that I can wear with any outfit.

The next piece is from The Little Things She Needs, I came across some interest accessories and this was one of them. It's made with separate metal parts set with square turquoise beads, threaded together with elastic. I seldom venture out to buy rings with a pop of color, but this is the first.  Maybe I can wear it with a white dress... maybe..

Embracing Leaves joined my collection just yesterday too together with my wing rings. It's so beautiful that I had to have it. Guess how much this pretty piece cost? SGD 4.50! I having the urge to go pick up more rings while I am typing this blog. I do own some pricier jewelery, however I frequently leave home wearing these affordable yet pretty decent pieces in fear of losing any of those pricy ones and suffer the heart wrenching pain. However, if I lose any of these less expensive rings, (I believe) I'll still mourn for the lost because I collected them all. Each and every piece, no matter how much is their price tag, is special to me.

Flat Top is the final piece I picked up yesterday at  Toys Outpost at a price of just SGD 6.50, when it looks and feels that it cost more than that. It looks retro and futuristic at the same time, ironic ya. A very chunky piece, I am not sure how frequent I will be enjoying this piece but I glad it's part of my collection. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I have this ring, Chic Stripe, for a few years but wore it only a few types as I find it a little masculine. It is purchased from Mintmark & Co. They have an outlet in ION & Vivocity if I am not wrong, selling well-crafted silver pieces. I can't remember the actual price, but it should range between SGD 60 to 80.

Bling Band is also from Mint Mark & Co, I used to have another piece I named the Infinity Crystal Band until I lost it (super heart pain). It currently needs a polish badly but I will have to find time to bring it back to Mint Mark & Co for the service. I can't polish this specific piece myself as the whole surface has settings and the cervices are impossible to reach. Although this is a difficult piece to maintain, it is one of my favorite ring.

Trinity Chain Links is from the now defunct shop I mentioned above in Far East Plaza. It is a little loose for me and I felt that it was am impulse buy when I stepped out of the shop. However, as time goes by, the more I fell for this piece. This is the only silver piece with a more prominent design I own. I use to prefer silver when I was younger, but as birthdays pass, I grew to prefer tones of gold.

The next ring I called the Minimalist is from Diva, I think every women needs a staple piece like this. Don't you agree?

The last ring I am including in this post is the Dainty Twist, also purchased while I was in Bangkok. I have not actually worn it before because it's looks really feminine. I bought it as I have nothing like it and thought it will be nice to have a sweet, intricate piece, but I have yet to have the "inspiration" to wear it yet. Well, I'm sure there will come one day I can fall in love with it just like all the rest of my treasured collection.
