The Daily Scoop: Speciality Ice-cream Find!

I found a little shop tucked away from the buzz of Holland Village for a secret sweet indulgence, not usual of me to look forward to dropping by every time I happen to be around the corner. All of my love ones knows I am not a fan of potato chips, chocolate and ice-cream (Weird, I know...) but come any day, 1 or 2 scoops at the The Daily Scoop is always a blissful treat. Found along the stretch of award-winning restaurants in Chip Bee Gardens where I will transform into a sweet-tooth creature to match my partner...

It's not a big place, hence expect a crowd specially after dinner hours.

Today's my lucky day, not much of a queue!

Click on photo to enlarge for the awesome flavors they have!

The menu board

Friendly staff who are always busy...

Help yourself by wandering over each counter to discover the different and quite some unique flavors. Any one caught your eyes and make your stomach feel that tingly sensation?

Found one that got your interest but not too sure how your taste buds will like it? No worries, ask for a sample before you jump into making your finally decision. It helps when there's always 3 or 4 contenders...

Top: Cherry Brandy
Bottom: Pecan Butterscotch (My all time favorite!)
I find the ice-cream here are creamier and richer compared to the ones I tried at Udders (another cool ice-cream cafe in Singapore), just the way I like my cold treats in this warm, humid island. At times I can't make my way down to grab a scoop, I will settle with a Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia (another of my ultimate favorite.) Some times, it's good to let down your guards after prolonged periods dueling in the corporate world. Reward yourself with scoops of sweet, creamy ice-cream, reminiscing of one's childhood as the cool goodness slides down into your tummy.

Back to my blog, I have to sincerely apologize to my dear readers who have been dropping by my blog every once in a while to check if there is any updates and were disappointed for the past year. I have been really busy striving for my career (currently still is, it's quite an exciting one, but not in everyone's context) and planning for my own nest with my partner who has been extremely supportive. I don't know if I can still be as committed as before but this is my passion and I'll definitely update when ever I can squeeze out some time. Thank you all so every much.
