A Little Night Scenery

My colleague, Star & I were walking towards the station late one night. It was a weekend & I was feeling really sucky because we were working. Well, that's life. We were ambling down the quiet street talking about the day when we finally passed the endless stretch of gray landscapers. The skyline came into our view and my mood was lifted by the breath taking sight.

I was so intrigued by the beautifully lit area that I dragged Star to wander through the street with me although it was way off our original destination: station, last train, home. Star did not mind at all & came along happily. We strolled pass chic chill out places, a oyster bar, The Fullerton Bay Hotel (very nice), the old historical Clifford Pier which looks nothing like a pier now (but the architectural structure was preserved) & all the way to the grand Fullerton Hotel that transported me back in time for a moment. In fact I forgot all about snapping some shots. Dreamily we finally stepped into the station & realised that I made it for my every last train but Star did not & had to take a cab home. I felt quite guilty as cab fare in Singapore after 11pm's no joke, but for A Little Night Scenery like this, it's all worth it.
