My Nail of the Day! 23 July 2012

My beloved partner left town for work (for about a week) leaving me with an empty room and more time than I normal have on hand. However, he bought me a UV lamp to go with my Harmony Gelish nail set (which I purchased like a kid in a candy store, from Nail Vibe shop), ensuring that I will not be bored to death without him around.

Let me know if anyone of you will like to know what a beginner gel nail kit looks like, the break down of the cost of each item and (of course) the steps/ procedures. I was extremely ecstatic when I got mine and the above is my very first home-gelish-manicure that will last me close to a month!

1. Base Coat

2. Sally Hansen Xtreme wear's Celeb City (Number 13)
3. OPI's The Color to Watch

4. Orly's Royal Velvet

5. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

The dots on the nail tips done applying Missha Crystal Nail Polish in HWH01 using a dotting tool, before a final coat of Orly's Royal Velvet. It's my first time trying the Tri-color manicure, maybe I shall try a nude version the next time!
